An Aurora woman was charged with running over a man and dragging him down the street with her car Saturday evening. Heather Baumann, 31, 600 block of Four Seasons Boulevard, was charged with felony aggravated domestic battery and misdemeanor domestic battery after she hit the man, dragged him down past two houses and then ran him over, police said. Baumann told police she thought the man had gotten out of the way of her car and she believed she had only hit a bump in the road, police said. No condition report was available on the alleged victim.

Michael Grex, 30, of the 2200 block of Scott Lane, Aurora, was charged with felony theft at 5:09 pm Thursday after he was found sleeping in a park near his home, police said. According to police, Grex’s roommate called police when he came home and found video game equipment worth $1,020 stolen from his home. Grex gave officers a receipt that showed he had pawned the equipment, then gone to the casino and unsuccessfully tried to win money to buy the items back, police said.
Thomas LeClaire was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center after he lost control of a motorcycle and was thrown 50 feet at 6:45 pm Sunday near Eola Road and Village Green Drive, police said. According to police, LeClaire hit a curb and was then found unconscious on the road. He was being treated for brain swelling, a fractured clavicle and multiple broken bones, police said.
Juan Martinez, 29, 800 block of Hill Avenue, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use at 2:23 am Saturday near East New York Street and County Line Road, police said.
Fred Gonzalez, 54, 200 block of Hill Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony suspended license as well as misdemeanors disregarding a stop sign and no insurance Thursday near Second Avenue and South Union Street, police said.
Cesar Leon, 25, 700 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated battery causing great bodily harm Thursday in the 100 block of West Downer Place, police said.
Abdelhamid Abdelnabi, 43, 8500 block of Nottingham Avenue, Burbank, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor use of a theft detection remover at 4 pm Saturday at the Westfield Fox Valley mall, police said.
Maria Vazquez, 35, 900 block of Sard Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felonies aggravated battery in a public place, aggravated battery with a firearm and knowingly damaging property as well as misdemeanor domestic battery at 8 pm Saturday in her home, police said.
