2wire Dsl Modem

"Avoid unless you need your dsl line fixed"

I knew my line was a mess so instead of going with Teksavvy I went with Bell for repair. I got it fixed but only after spending hours on the phone and threatening to terminate service. Only then will they dig up the line and replace it.

Now there are only occasional bursts of line noise that make my Speedtouch 780WL reboot and I was taken out of interlacing and put online soon again. Bell 2wire modem does own best deal with this line of modems either, I tried out the Speedtouch. At least it does not restart. A TP-Link 8816 is ok but not great.It seems that the 2wire is better as it synchronizes lower than other modems.

I tell everyone I dealt with Bell has been trained to be polite. It was iffy if you got someone who was really knowledgeable enough to help out. The trick was to get people you have dealt with their scripts down and intensify the problem. Keep doing until you get what you need, because apart from the notes they would put on the file, no nothing and coordinates every time you called you were to start over.I can not count how many times my call was dropped the transfer of technology to another example.

So would I go with Bell again? Of course. If you want your fixed line, you have to do that. Will I stay with them? Not in your life!
